REGULATIONS AND SCHEDULE OF FEES
Accepted Materials:
Unsorted Waste (household/domestic)
- Garbage Bag (standard black) – $2.00
- ¼ Ton Truck – $15.00
- Small Trailer – $25.00
- Large Truck (1 Ton or +) – $55.00
- Tandem – $155.00
- Vehicle Trunk – $10.00
- ½ Ton Truck – $25.00
- Large Trailer – $40.00
- Large Truck (3 Ton or +) – $105.00
Fees for loose/uncovered loads may be two times the regular rate.
Furniture
- Small Chairs (kitchen) – $2.00 each
- Sofas – $10.00 each
- Shelving (dressers, cupboards, etc.) – $1.00 per foot
- Large Arm Chairs/Recliners – $5.00 each
- Beds (includes mattress) – $5.00 each
Appliances
- Appliances (stoves, washers, dryers, etc) – $5.00 each
- Refrigerators, Freezers, A/C Units – $20.00 each
Other
- Metals – FREE
- Non-Treated Wood – FREE
- Recyclables Single Stream – No Sorting Required – FREE
Loads of waste materials containing large quantities of recyclable materials
(cardboard, paper, recyclable containers) may be refused or may have to be sorted.

- No Paints or Solvent Containers

Landfill Hours of Operation
May – October:
- WEDNESDAYS 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- SATURDAYS 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
November – April:
- WEDNESDAYS 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- SATURDAYS 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
CLOSED PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
The Landfill is for the ratepayers of the RM of Meeting Lake ONLY.
All fees will be enforced at the discretion of the Facility Supervisor.
